Policy Change

During this new year, I have been determined to walk everyday and to be so organized during the day that I have real quality time to spend with my family.  There are things I just don't have time for anymore in order to make family time happen.  So cleaning the floors everyday is out.   I just don't have enough hours in the day.  When I asked around for volunteers to take the job from me, I heard silence.

So new policy change at our house...  No shoes in the house.  Slippers are allowed and shoes that have not been outside for a very long time are ok.  Otherwise, get them off.

This policy change has not gone over so well - there have even been tears and name calling.  I swear I heard Dave say the word crazy with my name in the same sentence - but certainly that could not be.    However, I hold my ground.   And in doing so, I have turned into my Mom and my Little Noni - who both adore slippers.  Check these out!

And my sister who knows my affinity for multi-tasking really helped me out.

I have to admit, I miss my tennis shoes.  Even though my slippers are way cool.   I think I am going to start saving my change for house only sneakers.  :-)

Update:  So I just finished hitting the post button...  turned around...  and Biscuit, my dog, threw up all over the carpet.  Boy - I am feeling like the born loser.  I am not sure I am going to win this one.
